How to Get Here
The city is served by two main airports; Malpensa, which is about 46 km away; and Linate, just east of the city centre. There’s also Bergamo Airport about 60 km south west. Airport links converge at the city’s main train station, Milano Centrale, which is just one local stop from Porta Garibaldi, the nearest station to Residenza Cenisio Milan.
Malpensa - An express train runs every 30 minutes during the day to Milano Centrale Station, taking not more than 40 minutes.
Linate - A shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes during the day to Milano Centrale Station. Thanks to the vicinity of this airport however, a taxi into the city centre is not too expensive.
Bergamo - Shuttle buses run at varying frequencies to accommodate flights. Note that Bergamo is around 60 km from Milan and buses take upwards of an hour to arrive in the centre.
Milano Centrale Train Station - Take a local train one stop or the Tube two stops to Porta Garibaldi. From this point guests with luggage are recommended to take a taxi (under €30 by day).
